For your consideration is this fresh Maryland estate series from an engineer with a vast collection of historic Freemason items. Please check my other listings for more antiques books.

This set of two books is titled Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry Volumes 1 and 2, originally written by Albert G. Mackey in 1873 with this edition being printed in 1914. The revision for this edition was done by Edward L. Hawkins and William J. Hughan of the 30th and 32nd Degrees. The outside binding on both books is in excellent condition, with minor wear at the top spine, face, and outer edges of the front and back covers. The inside bindings are clean and intact, and all the gold detailing is shining andimpressive. The pages are still quite bright, intact and easy to read, with fine color plate and engraving illustrations throughout the encyclopedias. There does not appear to be any missing pages from these books. Overall the books are excellent and clean, and were gently stored. There is softening of the headcaps and some minor tears with the largest being 6/8\". These wonderful vintage books will make an excellent addition to any fine Masonic collection!
