Description

Japanese antique urushi makie 5 pieces sakazuki and stand.

Product year: Before Dec 12th 1915

Purchased year : December 12th 1915 (written as 大正壱年12月 on the box)

It has been keeping beautiful style for 96 years.

Pine(松), Bamboo（竹）, Plum(梅) tree are drawing each sakazuki. Putting the name of these three kinds of trees together called ”松竹梅＝Shouchikubai”, a symbolic expression of auspicious matters.

These trees are highly valued in winter season because of strong trees against the cold. Also, they are used as felicitous decorations for celebrately events such as Wedding, New years party, and the other happy events….

There is a chip (about 3mm / 0.11 inch) on rim of a large sake plate. However,Very Nice condition!!!
