A lovely vellum boundlargepaper edition with 250 numbered copies, of which this is No. 120 of The Lyrical Poems and Translations of Percy Bysshe Shelleyarranged in chronological order with a preface by C. H. Herford.

Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792- 1822) was one of the major English Romantic poets and is critically regarded as among the finest lyric poets in the English language. Shelley was also famous for his association with John Keats and Lord Byron.

Charles Harold Herford (1853 -1931) was an English literary scholar and critic.

With previous owner\'s bookplate to front pastedown.

CONDITION

In a vellum binding. Externally, generally smart but with slight marks and stains to boards and slight bumping to extremities. Front joint starting. Internally, firmly bound. Generally bright and clean throughoutbut with slight age toning to very edges of pages and the odd handling mark.
