RARE - Antique General Electric/GE Schenctady New York INCANDESCENT PROJECTOR, STAGE, THEATRE, THEATER, SPOT LIGHT.
This piece came from the famous Hibbing High School school auditorium. The high school is on the National Register of Historic Places. My uncle was a janitor at the school and when they did a remodel project he was able to grab one of these stage lights.
This is a very large unique light with mounting bracket.
I could not find any information on this model, it is nice enough for a museum.
The lens is 10\" in diameter and is stamped with a fancy GE on the glass.
And General Electric Company Schenectady NY on the outer rim.
The total height of the spot light is 22\" tall, 17.5\" wide, and 12.5\" deep. Measurements are approximate and may be off by just a little bit (under a 1/2\").
The housing is painted a flat black and looks to be original.
One of the wing screws at the top is missing and has been replaced with a clamp on the side, the wing nut on the side is broken (please see pictures)
The reflector on the inside does have one spot where the mirroring has wore through (see pictures)
The mirror seems to be original, it is engraved with 7/27/28
Thebulb is probably not original.
