Was found this week in family trunk in attic of old home story from son is that this piece belonged to a doctor who travelled from NYC to Putnam county in early 1900\'s to care for relatives. Piece was giving to this gentleman\'s mother in early 30\'s there is mark inside as well as on back of top of neck it is very clean always in case in compartment of family steamer truck for over 70 years has two hairlines one on side one long one on back can easily be repaired why there is small pieces of cloth on bottom of string?
