1920s Vintage Red Velvet Devore and Ballet Pink Silk Dress with Beading AS IS:

For your consideration is this stunning, and I mean stunning,1920s flapper dress! It features a beautiful red velvet devore in a most elegant floral pattern, ballet pink silk accents, and silvery beading. At the typically 20s dropped waist, there is piping and a sweet little bow at the center. Below the waist, the dress splits into two panels in the front and two panels in the back. The silk portion of each panel is generously decorated in beads. Underneath the panels is an attached \"skirt\" in the ballet pink silk. Size: B: 36\" Dropped Waist: 34\" H: 36\" While absolutely gorgeous, this item is definitely showing its age on close inspection. It is still wearable (and presents marvelously), especially if the new owner mends it, but you must be delicate in doing so. As a result, this dress is being SOLD AS IS. Front: Fair vintage. There are tears and bead loss on the silk near the chest, a nickel size hole under the left armpit, a repair under the right armpit. There are tears and bead loss on the silk at both hips and there are several holes in the silk panels. The holes are not noticeable when worn due to position and beading. Back: Good vintage. The back is in much better condition than the front. The velvet looks immaculate and there are minimal holes and minor bead loss. Thank you for looking! If you have any questions, please let me know.
