Volume 2 has damage that looks like moth-eaten from the endpaper and initial pages, through pages 457-477 (continuous pagination). No further damage to page 913. No page damage has not compromised any of the information on the pages, but it is an obvious eyesore. There is no reason to believe there will be further decay.
There is a little bit of soiling on both boards, light corner and edge wear, rubbed spines. Pages are gold-topped, both volumes solidly bound with no markings of any kind seen anywhere. The last 60 or so pages of Vol 1 have slight waviness on page tops suggesting a moisture incident, and the last few of these pages do show an outline where the event may have occurred. No further issues upon close inspection of Volume 1. No page moisture issues, or other issues, in Vol 2.
COLLECTIBLE! Very usable and attractive, though as described, with one major issue in Vol 2. Priced accordingly.
