Please read the description carefully, examine all pics closely as they are part of the description, and ask any questions before buying!Up for sale is an original booklet published in 1921 and distributed by Hugo Karlén (more on his IBSA involvement below), entitled \"Stora Pyramiden Och Bibeln\" (Swedish for Great Pyramid and the Bible), with excerpts from Great Pyramid Passages and Chambers, by Morton Edgar (more on him below). This soft cover booklet is in good to very good condition. There\'s some light wear and tear, edge and shelf wear, curling and folds. Stapled binding is well attached. It contains a handful of maps, diagrams, charts, illustrations, and pictures, as taken from Edgar\'s work, all relating to their venture to the Great Pyramid of Gizeh, and expounding on how it was thought at the time to relate to bible prophecy. Note the picture of the chart of the Divine Plan of the Ages. This would be a fine authentic addition to your collection, or a great gift for that collector in your life, and would look great sitting in any library! I would ask you to see the pics to get a good idea of it\'s condition, and I would be happy to answer any and all questions, or provide more pictures if needed. Measures about 7-3/8\" x 5\", and has 40 pages.For the Watch Tower collector: Morton Edgar and his brother John were contemporaries of Charles Taze Russell, as well as Bible Students at the time. Their contributions are well noted in WT history. Of note in their other respective works on the Great Pyramid are things pertaining to their involvement with the Bible Students: the use of the old Cross and Crown logo, the use of varying charts of the Plan of the Ages, letters to the brethren, advertisement references to the Watch Tower, Pastor Russell, Studies in the Scriptures, and so on. Of course, Jehovah\'s Witnesses found the thought of the Great Pyramid relating to Bible prophecy to be unscriptural many decades ago, but this stands as a unique glimpse into the thinking of the day back in early Watch Tower history. Of interest to Jehovah\'s Witnesses, Bible Students, or perhaps those interested in early pyramidology...in Swedish. Note the comparable diagrams in this booklet as found in Studies in the Scriptures Volume 3, Thy Kingdom Come.About Hugo Karlén, as taken from The Present Age and Times to Come: \"Hugo Karlén was born in Halmstad Sweden on 24 September 1883. He became acquainted with the teachings of Charles T. Russell when he worked in Custom Controls. Later on he left his work at the Custom Control and started to study the Bible full time. In the year 1913 Hugo Karlén visited the USA and met with Charles T. Russell and discussed the Scriptures. Pastor Russell must have had a certain respect for his point of view, as he appointed Hugo Karlén to take care of the contacts regarding the Swedish press.Hugo Karlén left his post with the Watch Tower before the death of Charles Russell and formed a small congregation in Stockholm. He wanted to focus his time and attention on the work of completing the “little flock.” His studies included these Bible images: the Temple of Solomon, the Tabernacle in the wilderness, Ezekiel’s Temple vision, the cube in the book of Revelation and the Great Pyramid at Gizeh until his death in Stockholm on 14 January 1954.During the years 1927-1950 he was a frequent correspondent with Morton Edgar of Scotland regarding the evidences from the Great Pyramid in Egypt. The studies, letters and graphics exchanged between these two Bible Students are reproduced in “Gleanings from Glasgow” printed by the Portland Area Bible Students in 2004.\" (Interestingly, as of 1921 with this booklet\'s printing, Morton Edgar was still associated with J.F. Rutherford, and Karlén with Edgar, but Karlén had left the organization while Russell was still alive prior to 1916.)
