1924 ENGLISH STERLING SILVER DEMITASSE/COFFEE POT by CRICHTON

Presented is a fine English sterling silver coffee or demitasse pot. This pot dates to1924 and was made by Crichton & Co Ltd. The pot is done in a classic form, copying much older English styles. The pot has a beautifully carved wooden handle with a C scrolled design. The pot is monogrammed LHC on the side in elegant script. This is a sturdy, well made silver pot with a wide variety of uses.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the side with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard\'s head for the city of London, the date letter i for 1924, and the maker\'s mark for the Crichton & Co Ltd. The interior lip of the lid is also hallmarked with the lion passant and the date letter. The underside of the pot is stamped with Crichton & Co Ltd and Made in England.

The pot is about 8 inches tall.

The pot weighs 533 grams or 18.8 regular ounces.
