1927 Lovely English Cut Glass Sterling Silver & Pink Enamel Perfume Bottle

Presented is a lovely English cut glass, sterling silver and enamel perfume or cologne bottle. This piece dates to 1927. The lid features beautiful pink guilloche enamel, translucent with the fine machine turned designs visible underneath. The lid and collar of the bottle are sterling silver. The bottle itself is glass, decorated with vertical cuts and a band of foliate designs. The lid flips up to reveal a little glass stopper, to apply the cologne or perfume.

The bottle is in great condition. The enamel has a very minor flake to one edge, visible at about the 6 o\'clock position in the fourth photo. The stopper is in great shape and fits well. The glass has no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the side of the collar with the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the city of Birmingham, the date letter C for 1927, and a maker\'s mark which is unfortunately partially worn. The lid is also stamped with the lion passant and date letter.

The bottle is about 4 inches tall.
