So that the problem can be resolved. MUSIC offers an outstanding 1927, (serial number 84770) \"The Gibson\" Style A mandolin. Straight from an estate, same family since new. Some wear on the fretwires, and fret board. This year period had lacquer finish. Some crazing, and finish cracking. Some wear marks from being played. ALL original, (except the new Martin strings, I put on it). Cleaned up, and polished with Stewmac\'s Preservation polish. The tuners all work fine. They are marked on the inside, \"Waverly Music Products, Pattent Applied For\". Right in the time period for the manufacture of this mandolin. The label inside is clear, the writing clear, and crisp. This mandolin sounds awesome, great tone, and sustain. The original case to this cutie is a green lined Geib, (has the diamond on the inner compartment lid. Has wear and tear on it. Protected the instrument like it is supposed to. Latches, and hinges are all good, no key for the locking slide latch. The straps that keep the lid partially open, need reglued.
