One of 750 copies on Abbey Mills paper as stated to the verso of the half title page.

Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973) a noted book collector and diarist.

With an introductory memoir of Willmott\'s life.

The preface lists A Journal as one of the most charming books of the nineteenth century and ranks it alongside Pleasures of Literature as some of Willmott\'s best work. This text is printed from the fourth, and most recent edition prior to this text of A Journal.

CONDITION

In a quarter cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are untrimmed, and uncut to the foredge of some gatherings.Pages arevery bright and clean throughout. Overall: FINE.
