A heavily toned unofficial ball with some general wear. One side panel is signed by Babe Ruth, with note to a failry bold \"Babe R,\" but with the \"uth\" in Ruth scraped. Another panel offers four signatures, a large fairly nice Lou Gehrig on top, Charles O\'Leary (rare D\'41), Tony Lazzeri, and one unidentified player. There is a very light Jim Bottomley on the left side of the sweet spot. An admittedly low grade ball, but a reasonably nice Gehrig, and an affordable Ruth / Gehrig ball as is out there. JSA has identified this ball as a Tober Suburban League ball for the 1928 World Champion New York Yankees, and also containing the very light signatures of Miller Huggins, Herb Pennock, Al Sheely and Mark Koenig. The LOA also notes that there is another secretarial Ruth written in an unknown hand that is only visible under high intensity ultra violet light. Comes with full JSA LOA.
