This is an old 1928campaign sticker or decal in the shape of the state of Illinois that says: Hooverfor President, Emmerson for Governor, Illinois is for Both. Both Herbert Hoover and Louis Emmerson wouldwin their respective elections in 1928.I am not an expert on these old campaign items, but I believe this mayhave been a window sticker or decal. Guessit could have been an early bumper sticker as the bumper was relatively new in1928. I assume it had been used and then saved as I found it tucked away in anold book. Again, I am not an expert so Iwill leave it to you to decide how this was used.

If you are acollector of old campaign memorabilia, I do not believe you will see many ofthis particular sticker/decal.
