21930 Art Deco ELEPHANTS Pair ofBookends by H.Moreau Spelter & Marble French Sculpture Bronze.Up for sale,This beautiful pair ofElephants, Bookends, dating from the Art Deco period in France (1930\'s).
Very nice achievement by Henri Moreau (1869 - 1943), Elephants inspelter are set on a white / cream veined marble. Together they form abookends.
Authentic with their original patina and preserved in their \"ownjuice\", it lacks their bakelite elephant tusks.
In very good condition (as shown by the pictures) and signed byH.Moreau, an elephant measure 4 3/4\" high.
A Bookend measures 6 1/2\" * 3 1/8\" for a height of 5 5/8\". Each weighs1425 grams.Feel free to contact me for any information.
