This exceptionally rare scarce estate find is completely original and is in very decent condition. Signs of typical usage throughout with a small separation in the back panel. Otherwise a very solid body and neck. Sounds fantastic and Plays very well. Frets, fingerboard and neck are all in excellent condition. The nut and bridge have been lowered to allow this to be played as a standard acoustic for folk, bluegrass or country. It\'s tone and resonation are unrivaled for a instrument from this period. The top of the guitar is elevated at the pick guard by design.
This rare steel slide guitar version of the Gibson Kalamazoo was made in very limited numbers. We are dating it to 1932 to 1937. The factory number on the neck block is present but not entirely legible.
This guitar would undoubtedly be an exceptional addition to anyone\'s collection.
