1930\'s Royal York Hotel Silver VIntage Silverplated Condiment Set:

A silver plated condiment set made by the International Silver Company for the Royal York Hotel in Toronto Canada sometime in the late 1930\'s to early 1940\'s. It contains a salt shaker, a pepper shaker and a third container that may have been used for a dry spice (paprika?) or maybe a mustard. (it has a hole where you can place a small spoon) All three glass containers are side marked with the Royal York\'s logo of \"RY\" topped with a crown. They also each have a silver plated top .. and each one is in excellent shape. (easily removable from their glass bottoms with no dents, no scratches and no plate loss) The silver plated base also has the Royal York\'s logo and is in equally great shape. It has a handle attached to the back so it can be easily transferred. It measures about 5 inches in length and is just under 3 inches high (when the shakers are in place). The markings on the bottom are as follows: INTERNATIONAL S. CO., OF CANADA LIMITED, E.P.N.S., SILVER SOLDERED.
The Royal York Hotel, one of Toronto\'s most luxurious hotels, opened in 1929. The Royal York is the residence of choice for Queen Elizabeth and other members of the Canadian Royal Family when in Toronto.
