This sale is for a 1930\'s antique woodworking tool carpenter planewith the storage box,marked on the plane:STANLEY - BAILEY - No. 5 - MADE IN U.S.A. - PAT. NO. 1918750 - This antique tool is fully functional and in very good+ condition and appearing just barely used with near 100% jappaning still present.It was found in the box and the side it rested on had some minor surface rust. It has been cleaned and my guess is the original owner used it once or twice, put a tiny nick in the blade, put it back in the box and never used it again. It really does look that unused. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. It measures 14\" by 2 1/2\" by 5 1/4\" and in the box weighs 4 lbs. 13 oz. The box is a little shabby, appears like an original Stanley box but has no labels, and the corners have some tape on them.
