1930\'s Sterling Silver & Amethyst Necklace ~ Art Deco ~ Estate:

This is a lovely Art Deco necklace which dates from the 1930\'s. It is in excellent condition with no imperfections. The necklace has 6 large facet cut Amethysts which are bezel set in Sterling silver. The chain that is original to the piece is very intricate, please zoom in to see the details and amount of work that went into making the chain. It goes have a every so slight gold gilt to the silver. The amethysts are all natural and show a bit of sinking on some of the stones. They are nicely matched in color and in size to each opposing stone. This piece rest high the neck as photographed and lies flat. The clasp is hallmarked Sterling. There are no cracks in any of the stones and very very minor wear.
