The Cantera opal mosaic in this pendant is heavy and huge, measuring approx. 42x28mm, bezel set. The entire pendant with bail measures approx. 2 1/2\" x 1 1/2\". This is an old Navajo (signature leaf)pendant, approx. 1930\'s. ***Please note there is one pit to the top of the opal stone, due to age. That spot is on the lower center of the pendant, use the zoom feature to see this.*** This is a rare piece, due to its size and the fact that this Navajo artist usedgenuine opal instead of the more common lab opal.
The opal has wonderful warm fall colors of reds, yellows, oranges, greens, along with some blues.
It is in excellent vintage condition and hallmarked \"sterling\". (weight 29.1g)
