Stunning and very rare moonstone cocktail ring, circa 1930s.The large moonstone is100%natural and weighs 15 carats.its oval in shapemeasures 16.40mm by 13.60mm. The moonstone is extremely clean without a single inclusion and has a very mystic play which changes depending on lighting.Itsbezel set in the ring which is extremely well made from platinum, the moonstoneis accented by piercing detail and engraving along the sides.This is an original estate piece circa 1930s.Thering is betweensize6.75 (6 3/4)and 7, andcan be resized. It weighs 8.5 grams.Thering is hallmarked10%IRID.PLAT. which is an older platinum hallmark, ithas been tested for purity.The ring is in very good original conditionand has been gently cleaned and polishedby a professional jeweler.
