VINTAGE BSA Boy Scout Eagle Scout Medal with Coffin Stylecase.

Up for sale is a Robbins Type 3 Eagle Scout Medal.This Type Medal was awarded 1933-1954.

The tufted ribbon, as well as the decorated styleof the case, dates this as an early version Robbins 3.

The Medal isin excellent condition, and the ribbon, although somewhat darkened from use and age, isstill in unusually nice condition considering that it’s about 75 years old. The ribbon is strong and doesn’t show any wearother than the darkened color.

Thecoffin style case is very rare and is also in unusually nice condition. To some collectors, the case may be worth morethan the Eagle Medal itself.
