1931 Pace Play Ball Baseball Coin-Op Skill Machine

Very Rare for your purchase consideration is this very rare Pace Manufacturing Play Ball Baseball coin operated skill machine. I guess it could have been used as a trade stimulator also. Still has the Pace decal on the side, but the front glass must have been replaced because it is missing all its “scoring” decals- see last photo which shows another original Pace Machine with the decals. Comes with one steel ball (same as shown on the reference photo). You keep score, track outs and innings, and who is on base by turning the various knobs on the top marquee. Beautiful front casting from top to bottom. All original except for the original glass and decals. Missing its key and the 4 small nuts that hold the top on. Works well- steel ball gets stuck sometimes at the release. Can be corrected with a little adjustment.

Pace produced this machine under license with Peo. The theme of this machine is similar to that of Peo’s Miniature Baseball. But, other than the spiral playing field everything else is different. This is an extremely rare machine to find. The last photo above is a photo of another Pace Play Ball Machine (shown for reference purposes only). You can see the decals that are suppose to be on this machine.

SIZE: Base measures 9-5/8” x 7-½”. 18” tall.

CONDITION: No cracks or chips. Front glass was replaced, as the decals are missing. Top was removed to take front casing off- no key. Top has bolts that are secured to top of machine by nuts. Missing the nuts. Works well. Cosmetically (paint) as shown in above photos. If you have any questions, please ask before you offer, not afterwards.

SHIPPING TERMS:

Shipping & Handling Charges: Includes delivery confirmation (tracking), packing material, a small handling fee, and a 9% fee charges Seller’s on shipping cost. Please know that my primary concern is to get the item to you safely, not to make money off you.
Handling Time: Items are typically pack and ready for shipment (handling) within one business day from the date I receive notification that your payment clears. Payment: Through Paypal, unless agreed to otherwise before the end of the listing. For “Local Pick-Up” items, payment is to be made in cash at the time of pick-up.
Due Date: With the exception of local pick-ups, buyer agrees to make total payment within 48 hours following the receipt of the initial invoice. RETURN POLICY:

Refunds: Buyer must notify the Seller of any issues within 48 hours of confirmed delivery date. Where it has been mutually agreed to, beforehand, item(s) can be returned for a refund within 14 days of this notification. Refunds will be limited to the maximum of the winning offer amount only.
