PAUL FUNG (1897-1944) began his career as a news and sports cartoonist for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and then began work with King Features as anassistant to Billy DeBeck on his BarneyGoogle comic strip. Eventually Fung went on to work on a number of other strips including A Guy From Grand Rapids, Bughouse Fables (taking over for DeBeck), Gus and Gussie,Embarrassing Moments, Dumb Dora (he replaced Chic Young when Young left to do Blondie) and he assisted Cliff Sterrett on Polly and her Pals. Measures approximately 6 3/8\" x 7 5/8\". Art is about 5\" x 5\". Very good condition.
