Our Grading Key

NM-MINT - Centering 60/40 or better with near sharp to sharp corners.

NM+ - Centering can be up to 65/35 or better with one corner having minor wear.

NM - Centering is 75/25 with near sharp to sharp corners. Could have minor wear on 2 corners.

Ex-Mint+ - Centering is 75/25 or better. The corners can have extremely minor wear but still come to a point.

Ex-Mint - Centering is 80/20 or better. Corners have minor to moderate wear, but have a sharpness to it.

Ex+ - Centering is 85/15 or better. Corners can have light wear (nothing heavy) Crease free. Edges can have minor light wear. Can have small wax stain or printers dots. Photo should be in focus.

Ex - Centering must be 90/10 or better. Corners can have moderate wear, but no rounding or creasing. The surface can have extremely minor wear but should be clean overall.

Vg-Ex+ - The card might have a hardly noticeable surface crease (thin and small), with moderate to light edge, corner and surface wear. The card can have factory print lines and printing dots along with minor gum/wax stains.

Vg-Ex - There might be a thin surface crease on the front or the back. The corners can be slightly rounded as well as minor edge and surface wear. The card can also have some wax or gum stains on the back. No major creases or any intentional damage is on the card. This is a classic “has been rattling around in a shoe box for the past 50 to 60 years”.

Vg+ - Can have a couple of light surface creases (nothing heavy). Light edge wear. Moderate corner wear. Can have light wax or other tiny stains and can be miscut.

Vg - There can be a major crease or multiple small creases. Moderate corner and edge wear.

Good - Multiple surface creases can be on the card but not crushed. Heavy corner/ edge wear. It can also have minor paper loss, some kind of staining, and can also be miscut.

Fair - The card shows lots of wear, has some heavy creasing and has lots of damage.

Authentic / Poor - The Card Could be trimmed or touched up with marker to give it good eye appeal. Otherwise the card will be in the worst condition possible having attributes like, pinholes, tape marks, paper loss, tearing, heavy creasing, heavy wear on corners, edges and or surface. For the most part these are the cards that had gotten a lot of attention from their childhood owners in the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s.
