Mindful of the recent brazen $427,000 robbery which shocked the United States, authorities placed a virtual Army of local San Francisco Police Officers, Federal Agents, and Secret Service Men, to stand by while $2 Billion Dollars in Gold was loaded on a Special Train in San Francisco, for shipment via parcel post to the mint in Denver, Colorado.
