Please scroll downunder this description for additional views. Please email with anyquestions. Three piece set of china to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937. Cream colored ceramic is unmarked as to maker. Plate measures 7\" diameter, saucer 5 3/4\" and the cup is 3\" tall. Each piece is decorated with a vivid blue band and transfer decoration of the King flanked by Flags with the coronation date. A smaller decoration of the initial E with a laurel wreath and crown, below reads LONG MAY HE REIGN- oh dear!- that didn\'t happen. Crazing to the glaze of all three pieces, tiny spots on the rim of the cup where the blue paint has flaked off.
