First off, I apologize to those that were watching this the first time I listed it. The buyer never showed up and never payed. This listing is for local pick-up only in Lombard,IL 60148!!!!Hello,this listing is for an original 1938 or 1939 Wurlitzer Model 500 jukebox as-shown. I think it is in great shape for it`s age. As far as I can tell it is all there,and nothing is broken or cracked. The keys are included for the front and back. I have not tested it as I have heard from more then one expert that it should be thoroughly cleaned and lubed before you attempt to power it on,so I did not want to take the chance of ruining it. The original power cord is falling apart and needs to be replaced. This was obtained from a family that had owned it since new,the son remembered it being in his father`s bar in Chicago in the 1940`s. They said the last time they used it about 30-years ago that it worked fine. Some of the finish on the wood veneer towards the bottom has worn away,but the rest is still in pretty decent shape for being over 75 years old. All of the plastic lenses on the front are undamaged,as is the grill and window towards the top. Again,I see nothing broken or cracked anywhere on it. I am pretty confident that this will be a working machine with a little tlc. It is packed full of 45-rpm records still. I would love to keep it,but we outgrew our house 2 weeks after we moved in.Please look at the pictures carefully and ask ANY questions first!!!! Would like it payed for and picked up within 1-week of listing end. I am willing to work with you if you find a reliable shipper.
