offeredis a fabulous 1939 ronson art deco \"cigar store indian\" table petrol cigar striker lighter. the bronze or copper effect desk cigar lighter features a well cast female indian princess holding cigars on a stand. the ronson base isunmarked as many early ronson table strikers came with a foil labelon felt cover which easily came off. the\"cigar store indian\"model is featured in the ronson book as figure 150 and marked extremely rare. i have also shown an old ronson catalogue ad featuring this model. this item is 100%ronson art metal works. the lighter measures about 7-1/2\" tall x2-1/4\" across and is in very good lite used condition. the finish has wonderful age patina.the lighter is missing pull out striker wand which can easily be replaced.a new flint strip and flint holder would also berequired for actual use. this ronson figural\"cigar store indian\"lighter is a rare fun novelty conversation item. overall - an important 1930\'s ronson strikerlighter for your collection. the lighter looks better in person asphotos are dark.
