Thisone sided porcelain oil well lease sign is in fairygood condition for it\'s age.It hassome minor surface rust, both front and back,some porcelain edge chips, and one deeperrust spot on the logo, as shown,which does not go through. I could not find another sign with this union jack styleshield logo. I did find some info where this logo,with a wing and arrow behind it, was used on some Union oil cans in the 1940\'s.I could find no specific information on the location ofthis particular well. The sign measures 12\" tall, 24\" wide, and weighs over4 pounds.Please email for more pics or information. I will not close my sales early, or change to \'buy it now\', so please don\'t ask!

In order to maintain accuracy, after more research Ibelieve that the Union Oil orange ball was introduced in 1962, at the Seattle world\'s fair. I would assume this sign was not made before that time. Sorry for any confusion.
