What\'s Up, Doc?!?! I am delighted to present One (1), Antique \"BUGS BUNNY\" DIECAST CHARACTER BANK and KEY for sale on , the World\'s Premier sale Website.This NON-MECHANICAL (or STILL) Bank is constructed, I believe, of CAST ALUMINUM and was originally produced by The WARNER BROTHERS COMPANY during the 1940\'s and continued on into the Early 1960\'s. Correspondingly, it is Embossed \"(C) W.B.C.\" on one Short End of the Green Base, however No Copyright Year is specified.During this time, Warner Bros. produced similarly-styled banks of other LOONEY TUNES ( Looney Toons ) characters like Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd and Beaky Bird standing next to either a Brown Barrel or Tree Stump, but this particular model features the Iconic Bugs Bunny Gnawing on a Carrot while Standing beside a Brown Barrel.The Entire Piece, including the Underside, had been COLD PAINTED by Hand and has survived in EXTRAORDINARY Overall Condition for its age. It Has NOT been Re-Painted! The 3-3/4\" Brown Barrel is Nearly Perfect except for Very Minimal Paint Wear at the COIN SLOT, while the 5-INCH TALL Bugs Bunny Statuette has Only TWO TINY, Unobtrusive PAINT NICKS. One is Centralized on the Back of Bugs\' RIGHT EAR with the other situated just Above and to the Left of his TAIL. Bugs\' name is EMBOSSED and PAINTED in GOLD (or perhaps Yellow?) on the FRONT of the BASE, with Several of the Letters showing A Little BIT of RUB.The GREEN BASE does have some EDGE WEAR, but this is QUITE MINIMAL aswell. There\'s a PAINT NICK on THREE of the Four CORNER EDGES along with THREE TINY NICKS on the BOTTOM of the FRONT EDGE. All of these imperfections, though, may be Very Easily Concealed with a Crayon or Paint at the new owner\'s discretion, but, personally, I\'d just leave it all alone.This is a Truly EXCEPTIONAL PIECE and to Top It All Off, BOTH the Original LOCKING COIN DOOR / Cover and KEY are INCLUDED!Domestic shipment of this Highly Collectable piece will be via Insured U.S.P.S.
