Yummy 1940s Plasticflex purse!The bag has bone white plastic sections woven with colorful faux-leather strips. It has a red liningwith mirror pocket and an outer white lining. It still has its original zipper pull and the Plasticflex label with a patent number that dates to 1941. The bag measures 11\" wide, 5.5\" tall and 2\" deep.
condition: The bag is fully intact, there\'s some surface wear in a few areas of the faux-leather but not broken pieces. It does have some other issues. The red lining appears to have bled through onto the white lining at some point. This isn\'t readily apparent but you can see it if you look between the plastic pieces. The bag isalso just dingy, particularly on one side. You can see that one side is a much lighter white than themajority of the other side. This bag was filthy when I found it and I gavethe dirtier side a light cleaning with a toothbrush, slightly dampened with a dishsoap and water solution. Isincerely don\'t know if this can be cleaned to the pointwhere the darker pieces brighten up. If so, it would require more patience than I have. There\'s also some thickersoiling in at the bottom of one side seam area. The photos should show thesoiling and color variation pretty well. The lining is in good shape with theexception of one pin head hole and a dark spotjust above the mirror pocket.
