1940s Sheaffer Tuckaway Triumph Fountain Pen Gold Plated Band 14K Lifetime Nib:

Vintage 1940\'s, Sheaffer Triumph Tuckaway, Lifetime, White Dot, Feathertouch Fountain Pen. It features a 14K gold Lifetime nib, white dot on cap and a beautiful gold plated sterling band (was completely tarnished when I found it). The pen has a Marine green celluloid barrel. It is a Vacuum-fill pen. It is marked as shown on the nib and the barrel. The pen measures 4-3/8\" long capped. It is in excellent condition, I see some wear or staining on the nib. I dipped in some water and and drew some lines with it. I found no drag, it glided across the paper smoothly. Other than that it has not been tested. I did not attempt to fill it with ink. The barrel has micro scratches but no deep gouges. The pen may require some cleaning. I did not attempt to disassemble it any further than shown, I did not want to force anything apart. I wiped off with a damp cloth and polished the cap gently with some cream silver polish, just enough to assess condition.
