This stuffed animal is from the 1940s or early 1950s... It could very well possibly be older. It is in great condition no rips or tears. There is no manufacturer tags on it. It looks and feels like real hair was used to make it. It is wearing a graduation cap and wearing plastic glasses. This was my grandmas best friends stuffed animal and she graduated in 1953 so I can only assume that is about the year this is from. It was protected from the dust for the 50+ years it was in the attic. It sits about 5 inches tall and is about 7 inches in length.If you have any questions about this listing please do ask. Thank you for looking and be sure to check out my other listings.There is a short story behind this stuffed animal. It was my grandma\'s best friends from high school. Long story short, when my grandma\'s best friend moved in with her soon to be husband, he told her he was going to burn the stuffed animals so she brought them to my grandparents house and put them in the attic around 1962. They sat in the attic ever since and her best friend never saw them again. She called when her husband passed away and said she was going to come get the stuff about 16 years ago. She got pneumonia shortly after and passed away (she passed away about 15 years ago) and they remained untouched other than by dust all these years until I crawled through a hole in the wall of the attic to the other side where these laid alone and I got them out a few weeks ago. I\'d like to see these go to a new home where they will do someone some good and the money be used for my own hobby in turn.
