There are no hairline cracks, no chips, no brassing on the gold trim and no name or initials engraved.
With the cap in place, the pen is 5\" long.
There is an imprint on the barrel that reads \"W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA, U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A.\"
This is a lever filling pen. It will need a new rubber bladder to fill with ink.
The very large 14K gold nib can be seen in the photo (it is part white gold and part yellow gold). It is is perfect condition, it has a medium-fine point and it feels smooth on paper.
This pen is entirely original. It has not had any repairs or touch ups.
