This Figure Skating Photo is from "1943-47 PARADE SPORTIVE " This scarce original photo was issued in Canada between the years of 1943-1947. It is from a set entitled "PARADE SPORTIVE". The front of the photo shows the name, facsimile signature, set name and a black and white photograph of BARBARA ANN SCOTT (great figure skater) She was awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's top athlete of the year in 1945, 1947 and 1948. She was inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 1948, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 1955, the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Canadian Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1991. The backs of the photos are blank. These photos were originally purchased from one of the four radio stations that aired the Parade Sportive Show. They measures approx. 5" x 8.25" inches.
