Nice 1942 Hamilton 4992B Military AN-5740, GCT, Hack Seconds, 22 jewel, 16 size, open face pocket watch with black GCT 24 hour dial.

The 22 jewel, striped damasking, nickel, ¾ plate movement is marked "Hamilton Watch Co. U.S.A, 22 Jewels, Adj. Temp.6 Positions, 4C66539." The movementis pendant wind and pendent set.

The black 24 hour dial is marked "G.C.T." and haswhite numbers and white hour, minute and sweep second hand.

The open face base metal case is markedon the inside the case back "Keystone, Base Metal 821677." The case back is marked with military markings "AN-5740, MFRS PART NO 33106,SERIALNO. AF43-9452., CONTRACT NO., W535ac-40783., HamiltonWatch Co".

This a nice 16 size Hamilton 4992B Military GCT pocket watch in good overall condition. This watch runs and functions Clean and Running and keeping good time.Striped damasking, light surface scratches.

Case: Nice overall condition with some typical scratches andnicks the that can be seen in th pictures.

Dial: Nice overall condition light surface scratch and imperfections, the paint is missing In a small area off of the hour hand that can be seen in the picture.

Crystal:Has a few light surface scratches.
