I love collecting vintage ads. Print advertising has been around for a long time, well before radio, tv and internet advertising. Vintage ads often have photos of famous people such as successful business owners, Actors, Magicians, Models, Sports Stars, Presidents, Military leaders and other prominent people. Vintage ads show the loyalty and dedication of American Citizens and businesses through WW2, Vietnam war and other difficult times our country has faced. The print ads show how and what our country did to make it through these tough times. Another interesting aspect of vintage print advertising is that the ads show the history of technology in many different fields such as communications, telephone, mail, newspaper, internet, military equipment, Navy Ship, Air Force planes, army artillery and war production, and of I can’t leave out agriculture, farming, tractor’s, animals, farm equipment.
