Estate Find, 1945 UNITED STATES MARINE CORP RING TUN TAVERN 1775 IWO JIMA Size 11. Gold with Red Stone / Gem. This ring was proudly worn. I take a lot of pictures to give the best description. I have a total of five rings and have listed them all separately. I was not able to find or make out the stamp on this ring but I do know it is very old and came from an estate of a gentleman who had acquired some rings throughout his military career. This would have been one of his first. It is an original and not a new release. He also had other military memorabilia. It appears to be am original Jostens ring possibly? It does not appear to be 14 karat gold but rather 14 K filled or a 18 k gold electroplated. Possibly over silver. I\'m not a jeweler and I\'m only going by what was on the envelope and I\'ve seen online. Please look closely at all photos you are getting the exact ring that is shown. This is an older rain. The estate where this was acquired had several military memorabilia. There were for military rings and two Masonic Rings.
