Offered here is an excellent example of the classic American
Streamline \"Cobra” lamp. Although commonly attributed to
Norman Bel Geddes, J.O. Reinecke is listed as designer on patent filed with USPO in 1946. Given the date of patent filing,
this lamp was most likely designed and produced beginning prior WWII.
This lamp has been fully restored and all external parts
professionally copper plated. The original bulb reflector
attachment is present. The original switch andbakelite socket
have been replaced with new like kind. The power cord has been replaced with reproduction rayon covered cordand appointed with a reproduction bakelite style plug. New felt hasbeen applied the bottom of the base.
