The ad has a color painting of a fireman’s helmet. This is an old-fashioned (though not in ’46) helmet with a wide rear brim and big shield in the front. It is shown with 7 small men repainting the helmet. Also shown are the Texaco ‘star’ road sign and 4 other small signs and tins.

Ad text starts “Announcing the New Texaco Fire-Chief gasoline” and goes on about the fuel.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1946 magazine, no reprints or copies.
