An uncommon limited edition of The Golfer\'s Manual; number 575 of a limited print run of 750.

The grandson of Charles Darwin, Bernard Darwin was a high standard amateur golfer and golf writer who was to be entered into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2005 for his achievements.

Here, he introduces the 1857 manual, written originally under the pseudonym \'A Keen Hand\'.

Contains decorative plate to verso of title page.

CONDITION

In cloth binding with gilt detailing and paper-covered boards. Externally very smart indeed, there is only some slight rubbing to the extremities. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and bright and clean throughout.Pages are uncut as called for. Overall: NEAR FINE.
