DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

Up for sale is this wonderful and very charming little sterling silver torch cigar lighter or lamp in the form of a Aladdin lamp. Crafted in Mexico in a Art Deco style in 1948 or after, when the Mexican government instituted the eagle form mark as seen on the bottom. This delineated eagle was present until 1955. The eagle mark changed to a silhouetted version after \'55 and can be found until 1979, when it was discontinued. This item appears to have never being used for it\'s intended purpose but as a decorative item only. It\'s wic appears original and never used. Overall, this item is in great condition and will make a beautiful display piece.VERY, VERY ATTRACTIVE!Please look over photos carefully as they are part of description and ask questions before offerding.
