1948 Marx Climbing Fireman Tin Litho Windup Toy. Detailed tin printed base, yellow tinplate ladder, clockwork plastic fireman figure who ascends the ladder, with brake, permanent key, some light wear to the ladder edges but otherwise generally good condition. This piece is original, complete and in excellent condition. It works great~when wound and activated, the fireman climbs up the ladder. The base has a busy firefighting scene with firemen fighting a two building fire, reads: \"Climbing Fireman\" and has the Marx Toys logo. The overall height of the toy measures 22\" tall. The base measures 5\" long x 3.75\" wide. The fireman measures 8.5\" tall. This is being sold as is.
