Up for sale is a very rare, 1950\'s, obsolete
Metal Wrist Rank Badge Pin of a Profession TechnicianSergeant Major
in theIsraeli Defence Forces (I.D.F)

A Profession SergeantMajor, used to wear this metal insignia on a righthand wrist strap (like a watch) in the summer or on the lower end of the arm sleeves (in winter) whereas officer insignias were worn on the shoulders. This rank was usedonly by Profession Sergeant Majorsfrom 1950 until the mid 1950\'s when this badge pin was replacedby a new version for all Sergeant Majors, regardless of their profession.

One can see this rank in an old 1950\'s IDF booklet (see photos).

Condition:
The itemis in good condition, showing some age patins & usage thatareto be expected in avintage piece - but nothingthat detracts from its beauty. It is missing its back attachment screw/pins.

6 cm tall and 4.9 cm wide.
