You will be offerding on a FANTASTIC artist Signed \"C.K.\" Zuni Pueblo pottery WIDE EYED OWL effigy / figure. This one is great! It looks to be in a painted style of Nellie Bica, but has initials of \"C.K.\" to bottom, maybe a contemporary of her? We have been told artist is Quanita Kalestewa, bica\'s daughter. The owl has wonderful eyelashes all the way around its round open eyes. It stands 3 3/4\" tall, and is 3 1/4\" wide. It is nearly perfect except shallow paint chips to tip of ear as shown, and a few tiny body knicks. It is still in very good condition for its age of circa 1950s, poss. earlier.
