This is a fantastic X5 Spaceship-12 inch rocket from the late 1950\'s. Made by Masudaya (Modern Toys) Japan, it is all tin litho and friction operated with sparks.Apart from a few nicks in the litho caused by storage, there are no dents, rubs or playwear. It actually still produces some sparks.It has a perfect friction motor and the green transparency is intact at the die cut triangular ports near bottomThis is a tough rocket to find in nice condition with a functional motor. I collected rockets for 15 years and this was the nicest one I could lay my hands on.Great colors, great size and stands nicely for display. At 12 inches tall this is an impressive rocket...there aren\'t many bigger than this one!
