Very Rare 1950\'s Rorstrand of Sweden folk art candle holder and bud vase figurine (possibly even an advent candle). This piece is extremely difficult to find. I believe it is from the 50\'s which is considered by many experts to be the golden age of Rorstrand design. The candle holder has a Lisa Larson, Marianne Westman, Gunnar Nylund (Lindberg, Gantofta) look to it. The Swedish folk art design is beautiful and unique and features a woman in native traditional garb with earth tones of brown, burnt orange, black, yellow and gray-blue. Figurine is in excellent vintage condition and measures approximately 4.75\" tall by 2.75\" wide at the case. There is some light, age appropriate crazing that can only be seen when examined very closely and a small amount of candle wax residue at the top (comes off very easily). Please reviews pictures and zoom in closely as photos are an accurate depiction of coloring and wear. This is a gorgeous and rare treasure to add to your collection!
