This compact is from a era when everything that glittered wasn\'t always gold!
Made of brass and baked enamel this Dorset Rex Compactis a real \"Eye Catcher\". Pink rhinestones and mock pearls are the center of each baked enamel flower that sits atop the enameled lid.This compact comes with the original powder puff labeled \"Dorset Fifth Avenue\" and the original screen. The mirror like most vintage mirrors has some spots of fading and discoloring. The compact is free of any dents but there are minimal scratches on the bottom. The locking mechanism and hinge are in good working order and the compact still snaps shut tightly. It does comes with the original box ... however, the box is spotted and stained on the top. The box still has its original cotton lining.This compact is new and unused.
The compact measures 3 1/2\" by 2 1/2\" and it is 7/8\" high.
