~ Chapter Guard Pin: Initials AI representing the Alpha IotaChapter which was founded in 1956 at Southern Illinois University; By 1960, itwas no longer a sorority at SIU and so helps to date the pin from 1956-1959;Safety Clasp

CONDITION: ExcellentVintagecondition with very minor metal wear! All Pearls are present and have abeautiful luster. I suspect this piece was rarely worn and spent most of itsday sequestered from the elements in a lovely box.
